The Art Department is the creative and technical heart of Studio Babelsberg. It carries on the studio's grand tradition of film architecture, which reaches all the way back to films such as Metropolis and The Blue Angel. The Art Department features more than 10,000 m2 of state-of-the art workshops and an internationally experienced team of carpenters, metalworkers, sculptors, plasterers, decorators, painters, and artists. In addition to set construction for film and TV projects, the Art Department also creates decoration and custom construction for theatre, trade shows, museums, exhibitions, brandlands, and events as well as interior work and brand/product presentations. If required, the Art Department also provides access to a talent pool of skilled architects, production designers, and art directors.
FXTOGO has offered digital services since 2015: coordinating, organising and controlling work in the areas of production, postproduction, pre-visualization and VFX from a single source. Whether for cinema, advertising, TV projects, the company from Babelsberg has the right partner for the project development to shooting on hand! Morro images, founded in 2008, is an experienced international 3D-studio that specializes in unique character creation, including 3D-assets and CGI animation. Since 2009, Morro images develops its own IPs with international partners, while still producing visual effects for high-end customers.
At Morro images partners encounter an energetic, creative and proficient team, as well as a highly developed full production pipeline. A key element at Morro images is the development of its own proprietary tools and software, with International advisers from Pixar, DreamWorks, Blue Sky and ILM.

RISE was founded on the idea of an artist driven visual effects company where passion for outstanding design reigns supreme, creating the highest possible standard of visual effects for cinema and TV. However, since its inception RISE's reputation has grown even faster than its floorplan; and beyond all expectation. Rotor Film Babelsberg, founded in 2011, is a full-service provider for all aspects of sound and picture post-production. Rotor's 20-person team supports of the first post-production facilities in Europe to introduce the new 3D-sound format Dolby Atmos in 2013, they have been involved in international productions like Spiderman and Pixels as well as in German films like Deutschland'83, Generation war, Heil, and Jack. Their cinema stage features the newest 3D audio technologies Dolby Atmos and Auro 3D. It is the Europe's biggest Grading Stage.

Wonderlamp Industries was founded by visionary media technology experts and film professionals. Wonderlamp combines the products of many revolutions of film and game technology into an integrated software solution that makes it easier, faster and cheaper to produce animated content while maximizing the creative possibilities in the process.
